Continuing Education Members/guests meet the CE/LU requirements of numerous organizations by attending APA Training. APA is a registered provider with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR, #PVD312), Texas Department of Regulatory and Licensing (TDLR, #1521), American Institute of Architects (AIA/CES, #G583) and a preferred provider for the International Code Council (ICC, #1321). APA provides pre-verified ACTCP credits for the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP). We award an Accessibility Standards Completion Certificate, as well as APA-ADA Specialist, APA-ADA Assembly Specialist and APA-ADA Transient Lodging Specialist Designations, when all criteria are met.

APA-ADA Specialist Track Graduates

Accessibility Professionals Association Board of Directors and task force have developed an "APA Specialist" Designation program which is awarded to individuals who specialize in the built environment, attend the eight hours of specific APA training and pass a written, proctored test. The designation is limited to members of APA.

The following is the criteria and a listing of those who successfully completed the training for APA/ADA Specialist Designation and passed the test.

These individuals are members of APA, hold a license/certification as RAS, ICBO, CASP, or equal. We congratulate them on this accomplishment and the advancement of their professional knowledge and expertise.

APA Assembly Area Specialist Track Graduates

The "APA Assembly Area Specialist" Designation is awarded to APA members who already hold the "APA-ADA Specialist" Designation and who complete additional APA coursework on assembly areas and pass a written, proctored test.
